Pecorino Toscano is a Protected Designation of Origin product. Known since ancient Roman times, Tuscan pecorino is produced exclusively from sheep's milk. The fresh type has a white, slightly straw-colored paste and a soft texture to the touch. The flavor is fragrant, characteristic, defined as "sweet". It goes perfectly with appetizers of cold cuts and homemade bread.
